♥ Had a wonderful evening tonight/last night. :D Went to the Twilight Supper Market with Fi, maiaki, surealistic_des, and Mel. It was a lot smaller than expected but had some of the best empanadas I've ever eaten so it was worth it. We also had cake which was a bonus. :) The weather has been really warm and pleasant so being a Friday night and nearing only 9pm when we were done at the market, we decided to head down to the beach. By the time we got down to St. Kilda beach there was a lightning storm going on the horizon and it was so pretty. Watched that for an hour before we realised the storm had made to it where we were so we started heading back to the car. Lol if only we had started walking back 10mins earlier. Made it halfway before rain came down in sheets so we took shelter under the awning of a public toilet. Despite getting thoroughly drenched (well I did, mostly cuz I couldn't run in my flipflops), I had heaps of fun. It wasn't cold or anything, just wet. The lightning was amazing. <3 I hope I don't get sick though...

♥ Things are being finalised and I will be booking flights to Japan this Sunday for January. Will be going with breakfast_kiss and will be meeting cierra_james & lveaddkt there. Not to mention Fi and 4 of her friends. I'm very excited.

♥ Ahh fallen behind again with everyone's entries. Not to mention fandom. Really need to cut down on what I read on my flist. Will try to catch up on this weekend, I hope. Also, amakoi has reminded me that I will need to post a Christmas Card announcement soon. I'm really looking forward to making up for last years lack of cards. They'll even be handmade this year. Got tons of ideas and have actually already started a few. Haha omg one of the very few rare times where I don't do things last minute.

♥ Oh! I just realised I haven't mentioned here that I've got a job! Only a Chrissie casual possie but I'm rapt! I need the extra income for some extra spending money for Japan, especially after plans changed and I need to expand my budget a bit. (Domestic flights there are so expensive :S)

♥ As I said, I'm very behind on fandom. Have seen none of this season's dramas yet. Does anyone have suggestions? I don't know what to try first. The only thing I've seen is K8's new PV, which freaked the hell out of me; and Pi's new PV. Which I LOVE. IT'S SO FRIKKEN PRETTY. Even being so detached to fandom lately, watching that made me go doki-doki. Pi's so gorgeous. LOVE the parts where he's in the white shirt. LOVE how it was filmed in New York. I don't know what I was squealing about more at one point: Pi or NY. It was like: 'OMG Pi's so pretty! OMG Grand Central!' Haha yeah, been on a US high lately. Wanna go to the States so badly.

- Ok things getting way long and if it gets any longer, I'll have to cut it, though I'm not sure where. Will leave it at that. Oh, I also decided to f-lock my RL entries which have semi-private info... but not sure what the differentiating line is. So I will randomly lock when I feel like it I think. xD Last thing: will also be doing NaBloPoMo this year. Expect the flood in November. Good luck to anyone doing NaNoWriMo.

It's currently REALLY windy and I can hear things getting blown around outside. Majorly scary. I hope there isn't too much damage, it's Hard Waste collection next week so there's tons of stuff lying out on nature strips.

This will probably be my last entry for a while. I'm having trouble setting up internet at the new place. Apparently it's a pretty new area so there aren't any cable lines up there, so I can't get cable or ADSL2+. I have to settle with ADSL. Not sure what the speeds like but I have no choice. I'm looking at plans with different companies and will probably have it set up in about 2 weeks or so. So unfortunately, I can't start Project 365 no matter how much I want to. I may take a photo a day anyway, but I won't have any way to post them. The net here at the old house will be disconnected on Monday. I'm downloading like crazy to use up my bandwidth, and to help me pass boredom at the new place. :)

So this is my last night here at this house. It's been a good 12 years and I'll definitely miss it. It may take awhile for me to get used to the new place. But I plan to make this move a beginning of many things. So here's to brand new beginnings.

♫ Saw my new house for the first time today! I'm very excited. It's lovely and I quite like it. Had you asked me a couple of months ago, I probably would've picked it apart but I'm focusing on all the positive stuff and what can be done to help/improve aspects rather than complain. It goes for a more pleasant frame of mind. ♥

♫ The house sits on a hill and is the first house on the block on a no through road street. Which makes for some pretty limited parking. The house is about 7-8 years old but it look quite new inside with relatively new carpet and tiled floorings. The outside of the house was originally white but due to weather, it's quite dirty. I asked mum if there was anyway we could clean it, and she mentioned spraying, but I think that's a bit of a waste on something not too important. The neighbourhood is nice, though I feel out of place as we're surrounded by HUGE houses of 2-3 stories. It's very quite and peaceful but can seem a little -too- quiet and just downright eerie. Our backyard opens to open land which the Army Defence Base owns. The river is only a block away. It's very promising for making future memories. :)

♫ Still tons of stuff to do, the house needs quite a bit of work, so it's gonna be a busy fortnight. One other thing before I go, I decided that I shall be taking on Project 365 this coming January. I know it's still really early, but I think I'd rather start at the beginning of the year for that particular project. But I shall do a test drive in a certain month something later this year. :D

10th attempt to write up a post in the last 2 weeks. I'm sleepy and tired and just downright not functioning, so the post will just be dot points.

► Was meant to come off hiatus earlier this month, but it didn't happen and now I'm leaving for Malaysia tomorrow night, so further prolonged hiatus. I will try to post when I can from Malaysia and will after, but posts will be sparse even after I return since I will be moving house as well.

► Having said that, I want to say that once I'm back on LJ, my journal will get a revamp. I've faded quite a bit from the JE fandom in recent months, and while I'll never leave it, my views of it have changed a lot, and I'm not as -fangirly- about it anymore. Still slightly, just not as much. My journal will change from a fandom based one to one thats more mixed: personal, photography, hobby, various fandoms. I have a few ideas atm. Feel free to defriend me if you think that's not what you'd like to see. No hard feelings.

► I apologise to everyone whose comments I have not gotten back to. So very very sorry. I don't even have an excuse except laziness after bandwidth reset. himehikari: So sorry I couldn't get back to you, but I'd love to meet up if you have the time. Though, I found out that we're only in KL on the weekend (18th & 19th) and then again on the 26th. We're traveling out of KL on all the other days. If you're free, let me know, and I shall PM/email my mobile number and see if we can organise something.

► More than counting down for Malaysia, I'm counting down to Harry Potter. Will be catching it in the Genting Highlands, the 2nd day we're in Malaysia. Can't wait. ♥

► Hope everyone is doing well, I miss you guys and hope to talk to you all again properly after my trip. Gonna go conk out now, so many things still to do tomorrow.

► Urgh my stomach won't stop hurting. I was out totally out of commission Thursday night then all day Friday with food poisoning. And now I'm still getting stomach pains, although it's not as bad as on Thu/Fri and I'm no longer feeling like I need to throw up but can't. It's also been really warm the last couple of days (cause of my food poisoning: a donut with custard in it which must've been out in the heat too long) and now my room is like an oven. Feel a bit better now after taking some painkillers.

► I cut my hair today. I've had super long hair for ages now and I think the last time I cut my hair this short (actually I think it was shorter) was back in Year 10. Lol yes, aaaaaages ago. My hairs been pretty abused by me in the last year: 2 curl perms, a colour, then a straightening perm, and then I dyed it again just a couple of days ago. The bottom parts were just like hay. I had already trimmed about 5 inches off it but there was still more so I needed to get rid of it. Now it's much shorter but a lot lighter and -much- healthier. I love it, especially the healthy part. :D I managed to take a before and after but the photos didn't turn out too good.

So yeah shorter hair now! And it's a chocolate brown too. First time I've had brown hair, ever. It's much more noticable in the sun though. It just looks black or a -very- dark brown inside. xD

► Haven't checked flist in days.. may take longer. I'm sorry. D: But I have to go change now, cuz lveaddkt will be here soon to haul me off to the beach. I'm not too thrilled, but I'll do nearly anything to get out of my stifling room. I can have stomach pains at the beach, at least that will be slightly more comfortable than having them here in my house. >.<;

I had a strange dream this morning of me going around the neighbourhood (it was -mine- in the dream sense, but it looked nothing like my real one) putting out spot fires with a strange hose thing that wasn't attacked to anything but still spout out water. Felt so...strange when I woke up. I think this may have been affected by the sms I got yesterday from the Victorian Police warning about high temperatures and fire warning then waking up to the sound of super strong winds knocking things down (like an old gate of ours was knocked right off it's hinges).

Also received a letter from VU today. Finally found out what the decision from last month's progress meeting was. They're allowing me to stay enrolled (surprised me) if I switch to part time, so 2 units this semester until my scores (read: motivation) goes up. So instead of withdrawing totally from uni (which was what I was planning to do) I now have the option to take 2 classes while working (still job hunting) or defer for the semester. I think I may take 2 jap classes to tide me till mid-year when I'm gonna try for Monash again. I have nothing to lose really and it may help with the transfer. Going into enrol tomorrow. Wish they'd let me know earlier seeing VU has already been back 2 weeks now. >.<; Eta: And it's gonna cost me $120 for my enrolment to be reinstated. Now I'm not so sure about it.

Mum made me a huge batch of 'Sai Mai Lo' (西米露), or Sago/Tapioca pudding(?) which is a Chinese sort of dessert which I love. We had stacks of fruit so she made use of them. It's a nice cool pick-me-up for such a horrid, overcast, stifling dry day. Right, off to dinner now. Hope everyone's well. ♥

Thank you nozomi_chan! I got your card, but I totally forgot about it. Sorry. It's such a gorgeous little card, I love it so much. And wonderful to come home to an empty house to find I have mail. :)♥

I've set a record to my bandwidth use. It's the 16th and I'm already capped. *sighs* I'm beyond help, I am. Currently at Fi's leeching bandwith with permission.

Not much to write about except, unfortunately for me, I was not accepted into Monash this semester. Disappointed but sort of expected. Feel quite at a loss though. So I'm currently looking for work to raise some cash. And I'm determined to get in, no matter how long it takes. I will try again next semester. Once I find a job, I'll probably join lveaddkt at the Jap school in the city to keep up my Jap studies.

Not much else to talk about so I shall fill up this post with memes. I remember seeing my name being tagged on a couple of memes while I was skimming through LJ a couple of weeks ago but I can't remember who it was who tagged me. Greetings from Hong Kong! I have hijacked my rellies computer (which uses his huge ass LCD TV screen as a monitor so I have absolutely no privacy and everyone in the house is staring at me as I type this) to send out my love to you guys on my flist. :D

Technically I've only had 2 days in Hong Kong even though I've been away from Australia for 7 days. We spent a couple of days in Guangzhou and ZhuHai and Macau. We've done some shopping and an insane amount of walking. I feel like my feet are no longer attached to my body. We're set to have a huge family dinner the day before Chinese New Year's day. I love the food here. So yummy and so majorly cheap. I've bought nearly everything I set out to buy here. I have a new phone (OMFG I HAVE A BRAND NEW PRETTY RED SOFTBANK PHONE, SO HAPPY XD), some beauty products which I couldn't get in Oz, an iPod charger and a majorly cheap 32Gig USB, and some clothes. :) All I need now is a cover for my iPod and I'm set. This was meant to be more of a food trip anyway.

We're slated the 27th for Disneyland, once the rest of the family leave for Vietnam on the 26th. Then we return home on the night of the 28th. I wish I could up photos but this comp doesn't have a card reader and I don't have my camera's cord. So photos will have to wait til I get home. We haven't got as many as I expected though, since I keep either forgetting to take them, or to bring my camera. >.<;

Off to bed now and to what will definitely be another day of jam packed walking. Hope everyone is keeping well. Lots of love, I'll get back to comments when I get home, since I doubt I'll get much of another chance. ♥ ♥ ♥
